ALBANY - A state worker from Wynantskill now faces potential prison time. Authorities say they caught him stealing gas from state-owned gasoline pumps.
The state inspector general says 55-year-old Bruce Chapple was caught on surveillance video four times filling portable gasoline cans then putting them in his personal car.
It happened at the Harriman State Office Campus.
According to the inspector general, Chapple used a state gas credit card to activate the pumps.
He faces up to four years in prison if convicted.
