DWI arrest leads to drug charge in Milton

State Police in Saratoga say a felony DWI arrest in Milton lead to the discovery of several Oxycodone pills.

Troopers say they witnessed 27-year-old Jared Gomula fail to stop at the intersection of Rock City and Middle Line Roads in Milton around 10:00pm Thursday night. Police determined Gomula was intoxicated and he was placed under arrest.

During the arrest, police say they found several Oxycodone pills, a controlled medication, and a small amount of marijuana. Police determined his BAC was a .14%. Due to a prior DWI conviction, Gomula was charged with a Felony DWI. He was also charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and an Unlawful Possession of marijuana charge.

Gomula is due in Milton Court July 2nd at 2:00pm.
