Police: Three-time felon facing more charges

A three-time felon from Schenectady is in trouble with the law once again.

State Police arrested 55-year-old Wayne Nelson after searching his Willow Avenue home.

Authorities say he had 172 marijuana plants growing, and about 18 pounds of processed marijuana.

They tell us they also seized "hash", hallucinogenic mushrooms, marihuana growing equipment and more than $2,300 in cash.

Nelson is facing three more felonies and a pair of misdemeanors.
