State shuts down railroad crossing

FONDA - For years, Fonda residents have been battling New York State's Department of Transportation.

The battle is over the closing of railroad crossings that residents say are closely tied to their everyday activities.

State officials are now moving to set aside local opposition and force what they want.

NewsChannel 13’s Bill Lambdin was in Fonda with the latest.
