A Gloversville man is facing trespassing charges following a verbal altercation Wednesday at the Regional Animal Shelter on W. Fulton Street.

According to police, 37-year-old Kristian Hendricks was arguing with some volunteers at the shelter around 8:15 a.m. Officers on the scene asked Hendricks to leave and, according to police, he apologized and agreed he would not return.

Around 4:30 p.m, officers were called back to the shelter. Police say Hendricks had returned and continued his disruptive behavior. Police located Hendricks a short distance away and he was arrested for trespassing.

Hendricks was issued an appearance ticket. He is due in Gloversville Court on Sept. 29.
