I caught an article via twitter recently about a scientist creating an ear that would give humans a super ability to hear.
That got me thinking about super powers, more than the ability to 'leap tall buildings with a single bound' but to see for a mile or more, to better detect odors, to run a 3 minute mile .. and on and on.
Would you elect to have a super power? If so, which one would it be? What would you do with it? Would you be concerned that you could be co-opted into using it for less than wonderful acts? Do you think it would be ethical to have a procedure created to give humans super powers?
As for me, presently I would just be happy to find a few more minutes every day to enjoy my favorite season, autumn. Oh, and being able to get through house cleaning a little faster and .. well, there, you see, it could be a problem. I suspect my grandfather was right, we're never satisfied.
