Police in Washington County have arrested three teenagers in connection with a weekend burglary and vandalism spree.
Police say the three did thousands of dollars worth of damage to the Cambridge booster club's concession stand and its contents. Now, the oldest of the three teens is charged with felony burglary.
It happened Saturday night. Vandals targeted the concession stand, known locally as the "Snack Shack." the building is adjacent to the school’s football field. Police say they broke a window to get in and once inside they went to work trashing everything they saw.
Police photos show the extent of the damage. Police say burglars smashed, dumped and vandalized whatever they could get their hands on.
And when they were finished, they took off with some bubble gum. Lollipops and Slim Jims.
The crimes were discovered late Sunday morning when members of the Cambridge youth football board showed up to get ready for an afternoon game.
Police arrested 19-year-old Nacarlos Horsey this afternoon and charged him with felony burglary. They say he and two 14-year-olds broke into at least two other places in the area.
Horsey was sent to Washington County Jail for lack of 25-thousand dollars bail. The two 14-year-olds will be referred to Family Court.
