A Troy man is now facing charges for allegedly leaving the scene of a crash, and then leading Waterford police on a high speed chase on Saturday.

Police say 22 year old Richard Stocklas caused an accident in Cohoes, then drove to Waterford, where he was caught traveling more than 60 miles an hour on Clifton street.

Police say Stocklas refused to stop, and even tried to get away on foot.  He faces multiple charges including Reckless Driving and Unlawful Fleeing in a Motor Vehicle. Stocklas is due in court on Thursday.
