Supreme Court refuses to hear 'lap dance tax' case

The U.S. Supreme Court will not take up the issue of taxing lap dances.

It's a battle waged by the owner of Nite Moves in Latham.

Stephen Dick has been fighting to have nude dancing classified as "art", making it exempt from sales tax.

The state court of appeals ruled last year that he must pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in back taxes and interest.

NewsChannel 13 spoke to Mr. Dick over the phone and he says he is disappointed and will continue on with his legal battle.
