ALBANY – An Albany man is facing charges after sheriff’s investigators say they found a marijuana-growing operation in his home.

Randall Travis, 49, has been arrested. The Albany County Sheriff’s Department says he had 47 marijuana plants growing in the basement of his home on Holmes Court. Investigators say they also found grow lights, drying racks, grinders and packaging material plus more than a quarter pound of packaged marijuana.

Besides being charged with growing marijuana, Travis is also facing a charge of endangering the welfare of a child because he shared the home with his 16-year-old daughter.
