Unity House opens new resource center in Troy

Unity House in Troy has opened "the Front Door," a comunity resource center.


TROY - A vital service in Troy has a new home. Unity House has opened its new community resource center.

The resource center, known as the Front Door, allows Unity House to provide enhanced services for people in need throughout Rensselaer County. Unity House will provide emergency housing assistance, mental health, housing, employment training and case management services at the 36,000 -square-foot facility.

There will be a gala Saturday evening to celebrate the opening of the Front Door. Subrina Dhammi will be emceeing the event.
