SCHENECTADY - Drivers in Schenectady might want to expect some delays.

Beginning Monday morning: lane restrictions will go into effect on Washington Avenue from exit 4C of 890 to State Street affecting traffic in both directions.

That is the road in front of Schenectady County Community College.

Crews are starting work on a new median.

For now, the three travel lanes will be down to two in both directions. The new median is expected to be complete within three weeks.
