BRUNSWICK – Police say a Pattersonville man had nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol in system, when he drove to a State Police barracks in Brunswick to turn himself in on an unrelated charge.

Dominick Lombardi, 42, is accused of violating an order of protection.

A sobriety test at the police station found Lombardi's blood alcohol content was 0.23 percent.

Police say the trip took him 45 minutes to an hour.

Lombardi is now free on bail. He's set to appear in court at a later date.
