SCHENECTADY – Police say a teenager was hit by a car when he ran out into traffic in Schenectady.
Officials say a 16-year-old boy ran out onto Albany Street at Wagner Avenue just before 8 a.m.
Police say he was not in a crosswalk and that the driver who struck him never saw him coming.
Officials say the teen’s arm was injured and he was taken to Albany Med for treatment.
Police say the injuries are not life threatening and the boy was not issued a ticket.
