SARATOGA COUNTY - Michael Zurlo will be sworn in as the next Saratoga County Sheriff at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Zurlo will take the Oath of Office in the Paul Luther Auditorium of the Mechanicville High School. New York State Supreme Court Justice Thomas Nolan will administer the Oath.
It's been more than 40 years since Saratoga County had a new Sheriff. Zurlo is replacing a retiring James Bowen.
Zurlo began his career with the Mechanicville Police and worked in the Saratoga County Sheriff's Department over 30 years as a deputy, sergeant, senior criminal investigator and lieutenant.
