WATERFORD – Waterford Police say they arrested two people for a snow removal scam that hit homes in the area.

Police say two homes were contacted by Sweet Remodeling of Gloversville for snow removal.

Police say 38-year-old Aaron Parker Penly of Gloversville and 38-year-old Brian Sweet of Fort Edward have been involved in scams in the past. They say the two have scammed people on contracts for snow plowing, home repairs and painting.

They urge residents to use caution and do research before contracting for services.
