ALBANY - The Albany County Sheriff’s Office says it caught a New York City man trying to sell counterfeit money in Albany.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested 31-year-old Daquan Turner when he got off a bus on Central Avenue in Albany.
The U.S. Secret Service assisted in the investigation and arrest of Turner.
Authorities say Turner had more than $1,000 in fake currency and 10 ecstasy pills on him at the time of his arrest.
He faces several charges and sits in the Albany County Jail without bail.
