National Grid says it made a mistake on its January billing.
The company says it used the wrong calculation on the delivery charge for the amount of therms used.
A spokesman says the error means 40,000 customers owe about $10 more.
National Grid says it is canceling January’s bill and reissuing them in February.
If you already paid your bill, you’ll see that amount credited, but you’ll still owe the $10 difference.
