GLENS FALLS - A Glens Falls man is back behind bars after police say he lied about his criminal record to get a cab driver license.
NewsChannel 13’s media partners at the Post Star report that 51-year-old Joseph Bongiorno is charged with offering a false instrument for filing and violating parole.
Bongiorno is accused of failing to report his felony record when applying to drive a cab in Glens Falls.
The Glens Falls man was convicted of drug possession in 2008.
The cocaine bust is one of the biggest in Warren County history.
Six ounces of the drug was seized from his home in Queensbury.
Bongiorno was sentenced to seven years in prison and was paroled at the beginning of January.
