COLONIE - Experts say millions of students each year are bullied.

At Shaker Road Elementary School, there's a strong anti-bullying program.

The students get why some kids bully, but not all kids who are bullied tell.

According to the website Dosomething.org 160,000 students miss school because of bullying.

So the students in Mrs. Bushey's class decided to take a stand -- not against the bully, but they wanted kids who've been bullied to start to roar.

The kids with the help of Mrs. Bushy produced a lip dub to the popular Katy Perry song “Roar.” The entire student body got involved.

Students all joining in sending a message to those who've been bullied you are powerful and you're going to be okay.
