Two employees of a Glens Falls paper mill allegedly found nearly $3,000 in a bin of recycled paper.

State police say Timothy Krywy, 46, of Fort Ann and Ronnie Ballard, 56, of Dresden went on a shopping spree -- and now, they're facing felony charges.

Apparently -- the cash was fake.

An employee that was supposed to shred the funny money that was disposed of by police after a counterfeit case failed to do so.

The U.S. Secret Service is investigating.
