The Albany City School District has fired a substitute teacher and coach of the girls modified softball team.

They say Zoe Naylor re-tweeted a racist post on her personal Twitter page that used the N-word.

A spokesman for the school district says a parent alerted them to the re-tweet Monday afternoon.

They investigated and found language that they say was inappropriate and offensive.

Naylor used to be an assistant basketball coach at Schenectady County Community College.  A spokesperson says her contract expired in March and she is no longer an employee.
