There are claims fracking waste is being dumped in New York from other states.
Those claims are being be aired Tuesday morning in Albany.
There's a public forum at the Legislative Office Building across the street from the Capitol.
Experts are expected to detail claims it is happening.
Last month, a bill in the state Senate to ban bringing fracking waste into New York from elsewhere was defeated in committee with a vote along party lines.
Democratic Senator Cecilia Tkaczyk of Duanesburg blames Republicans for blocking the measure.
Fracking opponents say the chemical byproducts are toxic and threaten New York's drinking water.
