Anyone who works at Albany Medical Center will soon be trained in hands only CPR.
The hospital says all 8,000 employees will go through training – regardless of what they do. In addition, all new hires will have the training as part of orientation.
The hospital points to several studies that show the effectiveness of CPR in saving lives.
The training is part of National CPR Awareness Week, which runs through June 7.
