AMSTERDAM – There will be no exceptions to the law made for the folks backing a casino in Montgomery County.
The State Gaming Commission says it will not make concessions, for doing so would be unfair to the other players involved.
Developers behind the proposed casino in Amsterdam had sought an extension beyond the June 30 deadline.
They also wanted the casino licensing fee lowered from $50 to $25 million.
