A warning from the FDA about several, popular over-the-counter acne treatments.

They could cause potentially deadly allergic reactions.

The products include; Proactive, Neutrogena, Maxclarity, Oxy, Aveeno and others.

All contain benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid, although it's unclear whether those ingredients or some combination of other substances trigger the reactions.

For now, the FDA is urging everyone to stop using the products immediately if they experience tightness of the throat, breathing problems, lightheadedness or swelling.
