Many may forget, but the Saratoga Performing Arts Center was built as a venue to lure symphonies and the ballet to Saratoga Springs.
Now it would appear rock and roll concerts largely pay the bills at the popular summer concert venue.
However, SPAC remains true to its roots. Tuesday night, the New York City Ballet opens its summer season in Saratoga. They'll perform through Saturday night.
Crews have been unloading gear from more than a dozen tractor trailers.
The opening of the ballet's 48th season will feature Balanchine's Journey.
Wednesday night is the popular American Girl night.
