Hundreds of people still don't have power Thursday morning after Wednesday night’s storms. Most of the outages according to National Grid are in Rensselaer County.

The storms caused some damage in parts of the region, including at the Saratoga Race Course.

Lightning hit a tree in the backyard area not far from the Big Red Spring causing the tree to come crashing down.

A few picnic tables were damaged.

Fortunately this happened after the races had wrapped up.

Flooding was also a problem.

A culvert became overloaded in Brunswick and ripped a pipe out of the ground.

You can see the damage on Tybush Lane off of Route 7.

Nobody was hurt and no homes were affected.
