Finger Lakes wineries are coming to Albany Wednesday with a message for the governor and legislature.
They oppose an effort to issue permits for a gas storage facility.
The gas storage site would be inside abandoned salt caverns along Seneca Lake.
But the wineries worry about a threat to the drinking water and its effect on wine growing.
New York's wine industry is the 3rd largest in the nation.
