Gov. Cuomo announced Monday which school districts will receive state money for full-day pre-kindergarten.

Of the $340 million available, $300 million will go to schools in New York City.

Here is a list of what some Capital Region schools can plan on:

  • The Gloversville Enlarged School District is getting $1,045,568.
  • The Greater Amsterdam School District is getting $935,416.
  • Broadalbin-Perth will get about $596,830 this year.
  • The Kids Express Learning Center in Latham gets $539,383.
  • Germantown will get $380,000.

The funding is part of the state budget approved by the legislature in March. It is the first installment of a five-year commitment to spend $1.5 billion on full-day pre-k.
