Jessica co-anchors NewsChannel 13 Live at 11 with Jim Kambrich.
In the past, Jessica served as anchor of NewsChannel 13 Weekend Today and our Berkshire news chief.
Jessica has covered all three of President Obama's visits to the Capital Region and was in New York City providing live coverage when Andrew Cuomo was elected governor in November 2010. She also takes great pride in her assignment as the reporter on our 13 Kids Who Care project.
One of Jessica's most memorable reporting experiences here at WNYT was in April 2010 when she went to Haiti, traveling all over that country to report on the earthquake recovery. She visited seven orphanages during the trip, connecting with children who'd lost their families during the tragedy.
She came to WNYT in 2006 after spending three years at the CBS affiliate in Watertown, N.Y., where she anchored the weekend newscasts and extensively covered the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum.
Jessica is a proud cum laude graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where she majored in broadcast journalism and political science. A sports lover, she played soccer in high school and at SU and credits her athletic upbringing as a major reason she loves the competitiveness of this business.
Along with journalism, Jessica has a passion for singing. If you're an Orange fan, you may have heard her sing the national anthem at some of the SU men's basketball games. These days she's part of a traveling cabaret group - The Singing Anchors - performing for various charitable organizations in the Capital Region.
Jessica is no stranger to the area. She's originally from Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake and is thrilled to be near home again, reporting for the station she grew up watching.
Jessica lives in Albany with her husband.
