Macchio buys Lake George Forum for $1.8M
LAKE GEORGE - The Lake George Forum has a new owner.
It's been sold at auction to Ralph Macchio Sr., owner of the Wild West Ranch and Western Town and father of actor Ralph Macchio.
Macchio's winning bid was more than $1.8 million.
Events held at the forum include, the Elvis Festival, Americade
, the Adirondack Living Show and the Home Show.
The venue located on Route 9 closed in June 2008 following foreclosure.
