SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER
When you hear "School's Out For Summer" they really mean it this summer in some school districts. According to an article by the Wall Street Journal, the American Association of School Administrators found a quarter of the country's school districts have cut summer and after school programs. They attribute the move to the economic climate. The problem is many kids in need of academic help won't be getting it over the summer. I spoke with education expert, Peter Dewitt about the importance of kids getting help over the summer. Take a listen.
