WNYT-NewsChannel 13, St. Peter’s Health Partners and the Times Union want to reward outstanding young people of the Capital Region for volunteer work and community involvement that touches the lives of people in our region and that improves the quality of life in our communities.
In keeping with the mission of St. Peter’s Health Partners and the goals of WNYT and the Times Union this effort will focus particularly on teens who work diligently to help the disadvantaged, disabled, or their fellow teens who are “at risk.” We are especially interested in those teens whose work has gone without recognition and/or without the funds necessary to do the job.
If you know a Capital Region resident of high school age or younger, whose volunteer efforts have touched the lives of people and made a significant contribution toward the enrichment of life in the Capital Region, please fill out this form and send it to:
13 KIDS WHO CARE
715 North Pearl Street
Albany, NY 12204
or FAX it to: (518) 426-9463.
Click here to download a pdf version of the form.
Entries must be postmarked or submitted electronically by February 10, 2012.
We will select 13 finalists to be profiled on NewsChannel 13. We will also host a reception in their honor and make a donation to a local charity of each recipient’s choice.
