Mike Levin joined WNYT-NewsChannel 13 in February 2009. He shoots and reports sports stories throughout the Capital Region and fills in on the anchor desk, too. Mike is a native of Needham, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. He is a die-hard Red Sox fan, and just as loyal to the Celtics.
Mike received his undergraduate degree in TV-Radio from Ithaca College and he earned a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism at the Newhouse School of Communication at Syracuse University. He began his sports broadcasting career at WKTV in Utica and spent two years as the Sports Director for WVNS in Beckley, West Virginia.
Mike is glad to be back in the northeast, close to his family in Boston. He's excited to cover all the exciting local sports here in the Capital Region, from local high schools and colleges, to pro teams like the Valley Cats and River Rats, as well as the spectacular Saratoga Racing season and NY Giants Training Camp!
