Police say Todd Buchas, 30, of Snowberry Rd., Ballston Spa, ran from drug officers Saturday. Buchas tried to discard items during a short foot pursuit, and later tried to bite an officer in the leg, according to police. Officer say Buchas sprayed liquid from small plastic containers that looked like eyedroppers, and some of that liquid landed on the hands of an investigator during the arrest. Officers say the liquid turned out to be LSD. The investigator began to feel the effects of the drug and went to the emergency room, where he spent the next several hours recovering, police said. Buchas is charged with two misdemeanors and three felonies, including obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, assault, and criminal possession of a controlled substance
