K-9 unit tracks man in Amsterdam
AMSTERDAM -- Police say they have made an arrest a recent string of daytime burglaries in the city, with the help of the K-9 unit. They arrested Efrain Pagan, 27, of Bunn Street after a 90-minute chase in the area of Storrie Street and Bunn Street on Friday.
According to Police, Pagan confessed to committing six burglaries and two attempted burglaries. Officer Pasquarelli and Canine partner Hyde helped track Pagan.
Pagan is currently being held for arraignment in city court on one count of burglary in the second degree, a felony. Additional charges are pending.
