Police capture attempted escapee in under a minute

Albany police are investigating how one of their prisoners almost got away.
They say Kathryn Gorman ran from officers yesterday while in city court.
Gorman requested to go to the bathroom while waiting to be arraigned on the charge of criminal possession of a controlled substance.
According to police, she was asked to stand in line with other inmates.
While in line, she ran from the officers and left the building.
She was captured less than a minute later in the parking lot of South Station.
