Lane closures on I-90 this week

The state Department of Transportation is advising motorist to expect delays on Wednesday due to construction of an overpass in Rensselaer County.

The two right lanes of Interstate 90 westbound will be closed between Exit 8 and Interstate 787. These lanes will be shut down from 9 to 3 p.m.

On Thursday the left two lanes of I-90 westbound will be closed from exit 8 to I-787 from 9 to 3 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays and may seek alternate travel.
