Police investigate I-890 accident

Police are investigating an accident that caused a commercial vehicle carrying large equipment to overturn on Sunday evening.
The Rotterdam Police Department said the accident happened around 6:41 p.m. on I-890 at the east bound ramp from Route 7.
The accident resulted in a minor spill of hydraulic fluid which was contained by the Schenectady County Hazmat team and Carman Fire Dept.
New York State Department of Transportation was on the scene to inspect the damage with the Schenectady Police Department to close the road.
The investigation is ongoing.
