GLENS FALLS - A man from Glens Falls was charged with making a false report to the state child abuse hotline.

According to authorities, Jason Santos claimed a female acquaintance was using illegal drugs and not providing proper care for her two year old child.

His report was investigated by Warren County Child Protective Services. They determined Santos had fabricated the report because the woman refused to be his girlfriend.
