Schenectady woman accused leaving infant in hot car

ROTTERDAM - A babysitter is accused of leaving an infant alone in a hot car at the Rotterdam Square Mall.
Rotterdam police say the child, who is about one-year-old, was in the car for 43 minutes during Friday afternoon's heat.
They say the baby seems to be o.k. The babysitter, 35-year-old Shanika Maxwell of Schenectady, was arrested.
