Truck hits pedestrian bridge at Albany Med

ALBANY – A County Waste truck hit the pedestrian bridge at Albany Medical Center over New Scotland Avenue Monday afternoon.
NewsChannel 13’s Benita Zahn is on the scene and said part of its apparatus extended and it hit the bridge over the road. No one was injured and the truck driver is refusing treatment.
The fire chief said that he does not think there is structural damage but they are bringing in an engineer just in case.
No one on the bridge was hurt.
