Trader Joes opens its doors in Colonie

COLONIE - Trader Joe’s opened its long awaited store in Colonie Friday morning.
The newest grocery store welcomed hundreds of customers at 8 a.m.
Despite concerns of heavy traffic on Wolf Road, things were moving smoothly.
A small internet campaign several years ago helped bring the chain here.
Some very excited customers arrived early.
Trader Joe’s has more than 370 stores in 33 states.
The Colonie location is open everyday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
