New information is coming out on the mysterious death of a Queensbury High Shool football player.
School district leaders held a news conference right Thursday morning.
16-year-old Jonathan Vasilou died Tuesday.
The state department of health now says the teenager did not die of the four types of common bacterial meningitis, as initially thought.
Tests for the deadly condition and other common bacterial infections all came back negative.
The cause of his death is still unknown.
Health officials say this means Vasiliou's teammates and others who came into contact with him are not at risk.
