Saratoga County woman sentenced to 16 years for nearly killing husband

SARATOGA COUNTY - A Saratoga County woman will spend the next 16 years behind bars for nearly killing her husband.
In addition to prison time, Lydia Salce was also sentenced today to 5 years post-release supervision.
Salce was convicted last month of stabbing her husband more than twelve times.
He spent 7 days recovering in the hospital.
In court today, he said he still suffers from nightmares and is having a hard time getting past the violent attack.
