Suspect arrested in connection with attempted Albany shooting

ALBANY – Police arrest a third suspect in connection with an attempted shooting at Third and Judson streets, last April.

Brian Jenkins was arrested Monday morning at a home on North Manning Boulevard in Albany.

Police say an anonymous tip helped lead them to Jenkins.

Two other suspects in the shooting, 27-year-old Jamel Bellamy and 35-year-old Lashawn Hicks were both released from jail back in May.

The victim, 23-year-old Lasaad Chaney was not hit.
