Bethlehem police investigate early morning robbery

BETHLEHEM - Police in Bethlehem are investigating an armed robbery that happened in Selkirk early Tuesday morning.

They say three men wearing black masks confronted the homeowner at 39 Dorchester Ave. when he got home from work a little after 3 a.m. One of suspects had a handgun and another had a baseball bat.

Authorities say the masked men they forced the homeowner into the house and demanded money. The victim turned over an unknown amount and the men fled on foot.

Police say the victim was hit by the bat but he's expected to be okay.
