COLONIE - Three Colonie police officers are being credited with saving the life of a suicidal man.
Police say a 41-year-old Schenectady man set himself on fire in the Taft Furniture parking lot Saturday night.
One officer tackled the man to the ground and two other officers used their fire extinguishers put the fire out.
The man suffered burns to his chest, arms and legs. He's in critical condition at Westchester Medical Center.
