MAYFIELD - The water crisis in Mayfield is getting worse.

All residents are now being urged not to use any water until further notice.

We're told the more water people use, the harder it is for officials to figure out what's causing the problem with one of the village's three wells.

Schools were closed again today to help reduce consumption.

In the meantime, residents can get potable water from a tanker located next to the Mobil mart on Route 30.

**UPDATE**

Crews have found an underground water main break and are working to fix it.

They hope to have the system up and running in the next day or two.

Water restrictions are still in place until further notice.
